Grandview Speedway prepares to welcome the 52n/a Annual Firecracker 40 for Sportsman Stock Cars this Saturday night as part of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Race Series.

Following a weather report last week, the Firecracker 40 will go to the station this Saturday, July 9 for the TP Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman. The program will also include the TP Trailer NASCAR Modifieds as well as qualifying events for both classes leading to the 40-lap TP Truck Equipment Sportsman Championship paying $2,000 to win and the 30-lap TP Trailer Modified feature.

Pit doors will open at 4 p.m. with the grandstand doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and warm-ups from 6:30 p.m. with races starting at 7:30 p.m. Adult grandstand admission is $22, while children 6-11 are $10 and children 5 and under are admitted free.

Saturday’s show will be recorded and produced by ATVN-TV. The races will be shown on tape delay the following Tuesday evening, with further replays to follow. Race weekend kicks off Friday, July 8, with Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Outlaw Racing Series Vintage competitors hosting a doubleheader starting at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission for this event is $10.

Race teams are advised that there will be NO tire sales at the racetrack this Saturday evening. Lias Tire has promised delivery of tires by next week. Management once again thanks everyone for their support and patience with the tire situation.

The Firecracker 40 is the longest race of the season for Sportsman riders and also one with an attractive payout for the winner on the line, so they’ll all be on top of their game trying to clinch the win and the $2000 payout. Saturday night.

The TP Truck Equipment sportsman has seen eight different riders hit victory lane so far this season, including leader Dylan Hoch, Jordan Henn, Parker Guldin, Lex Shive, Cody Manmiller, Kenny Bock, Decker Swinehart and the only two-time winner. Brian Hirthler. They will all try to win the mid-season championship this Saturday evening.

The TP Trailer Modifieds have only seen three different winners so far this season with Craig Von Dohren and point leader Brett Kressley the big winners and Doug Manmiller who so far has been the only driver to break the Von Dohren/Kresskey right of way on Victory Lane.

Saturday’s Low Down and Dirty meet will feature modified rider Dan Waisempacher as well as Sportsman riders Mike Schneck Jr. and Nathan Mohr, who will be on their honeymoon beginning at 5 p.m.

The following Saturday, July 16, a three-division show will feature the TP Trailer Modifieds, TP Truck Equipment Sportsman, as well as the sole appearance of the United Racing Club 360 Sprint Cars starting at 7:30 p.m.

Race Night will be known as Do It in the Dirt Night with Bob Hilbert Sportswear as the Race Night Sponsor.

On Saturday, July 23, another three-division schedule will be staged as Outlaw Racing Series Vintage riders join the TP Trailer Modifieds and TP Truck Equipment Sportsman at the TP Trailer and Truck Equipment party beginning at 7:30 p.m.
