Formula 1 today announced it will be increasing its presence in Brazil after agreeing a renewal with Bandeirantes (Band) for a further three years spanning the 2023-2025 seasons, for the exclusive sports broadcasting rights in Brazil. In addition, F1 and Claro Brasil, a representative company of América Móvil in Brazil, announced a new strategic distribution agreement that will make the telecommunications company the exclusive distribution partner of F1 TV Pro in the country.

Since the return of F1 to Band in 2021, the broadcaster has been a major factor in the growth of the sport in Brazil, with significant investment in high quality production and comprehensive content across TV and digital platforms, led by an extremely experienced presentation team.

Throughout the term, all qualifying sessions and Grands Prix will be broadcast live and unencrypted on Rede Bandeirantes. BandSports will also continue to transmit all sessions from each race weekend until the end of the 2025 FIA Formula 1 World Championship, meaning fans in Brazil will never miss a moment of the action.

For those looking for even more content beyond the racetrack, F1 TV Pro is F1’s dedicated over the top (OTT) subscription video platform and from July will be available to Claro customers. Brasil, who can pay for the subscription through their postpaid bills. It’s part of a partnership between Formula 1 and América Movil, Latin America’s largest telecommunications service provider, with more than 360 million customers in 18 countries.

F1 TV Pro offers live and on-demand coverage of every F1 session, as well as live access to the 20 drivers’ on-board cameras and team radio channels, session replays and highlights, live streaming of every F2, F3 and Porsche Supercup session, and a library spanning over 2,000 hours of archive and feature film programming. The platform was revamped in 2021 and is now more accessible than ever, with the release of the service on major big-screen platforms improving the viewing experience for Formula 1 fans around the world.
